LOCATION

The Sussex was at the British Airways I360 from the 8th Oct until the 22nd of October 2022. This iconic venue is perhaps the most contemporary building in the county and benefits from a huge amount of footfall that rivals any other Sussex art gallery.

THEME

We brought together the best art inspired by the food and drink of Sussex, from still life observations to landscapes, portraits, restaurant scenes, farmlands, produce, or a depiction of your favourite Sussex food we invite you to come and see this celebration of Sussex’ bounteous produce, producers and food scene.

CHARITY

All of the art in the exhibition was for sale and a percentage of the money raised by this open-call exhibition went directly to Table Talk Foundation. This registered charity has been set up to educate children in Sussex and support our local hospitality industry.

OUR JUDGES

We have a panel of expert judges who have had the task of choosing which Sussex local artists to hang. If that wasn’t difficult enough they are also tasked with choosing which artists win our prizes.

We are very grateful to them for giving up their time and lending their considerable expertise in the world of art.
